Fleurisse Design

Sourcing is often the most stressful step, and totally key to having enough product AND the right balance of textures and colors for all the different pieces of a wedding.  It's also where many florists eat into their profits by overbuying.  If you've ever been overwhelmed and over budget while shopping the SF Flower Market, and know you need to walk in with a better plan, I'm doing a deep dive on how I merge the creative brain with the business brain in this challenging part of floristry.

You'll walk out equipped with concrete tools and skills for making a better sourcing plan for your events, as well as confidence in how your pricing is built up so that you can stay on budget.

Class size will be limited to 10 students so that the group discussions can be targeted to the needs of your business at the stage you are at.

Tuesday June 3rd - full day business intensive -
In Person at my Studio in Hayward CA 94541
Curriculum:
1. How to go from moodboard/Pinterest to ingredients available in the right season
2. How to use digital mockups to help with balancing color, textures and quantities as well as help yourself and your clients visualize the final product.
3. How to write recipes in a stem counter and compare it to the amount budgeted for each item
4. How I preorder vs shop the market floor and pivot/make substitutions as needed, including which specific vendors I buy from at the SFFM for different categories of product.
5. How to effectively learn from every event to build confidence in your purchasing budget and reduce overbuying

Digital products included in this course include:
-My seasonal flower availability notes specific to the Bay Area and its market, by month
-My stem counting-recipe writing-budgeting spreadsheet - save hundreds per year compared to a software subscription like Curate ($230/mo) / Details ($150/mo) / EveryStem ($25/mo)

Lunch will be provided.

This workshop is designed for florists who want to improve their sourcing processes to increase their profitability and reduce wasted product.  It will be helpful if you are growing your business from smaller budgets to larger ones, where purchasing mistakes become much more expensive, or if you've never had confidence if you're pricing correctly or filling to value.  It will also give you a great starting point into what seasonal treasures can make your designs stand out.

Investment is $575, with $475 early bird pricing for those who book before May 16th!

Students who want extra support may also add a discounted $200 1:1 coaching (2 hrs live coaching time + prep + follow-up notes) for a future date where I walk you through this process for one of your own events, for its season, colors and budget.

Please be aware that once your spot is secured it will not be refundable. If, in the unfortunate event, you are no longer able to attend the class we encourage you to transfer your spot to another florist.
